A2A Spitfire w/Accusim just released!

Featured Replies

As truly supurb as the RA Spitfire is, the A2A far exceeds it in all areas.I NEVER, EVER thought I'd be uninstalling the RA spit but..... :(

Where?
At the bottom, Dave: two little square boxes. Checkmark in both if you already have a Spit and want the Accusim as a bundle. (My copy/paste doesn't show the boxes.)

Bliksimpie,If you PM me your order number or last name, I'll credit your account.Scott
I have send you a PMThank you very much. Much appreciated:Now that is what I call SERVICE..!

No one should ever, ever compare the RA Spit with this one.The largest difference IMO would be that of their specs. The RA Spitfire were Mk. IX/XIV models, whilst the A2A Accu-Sim were Battle of France/Britain MK.I/IIAs. Configs then maybe different for either aircraft. But of course, with due respect of detail and accuracy, the A2A WOP3 Spitfire is galaxies ahead of the RA Spitfire, including the sweet feautre of being able to swap engines and engine types (e.g. the three blade types of BoB Spits with the twin blade BoF types) far exceeds that of the RealAir effort. Unfortunately, I have a terribly old computer that just won't run FSX properly, which means that I'm stuck with the old ** Spitfire for now. Looks like another trip to the Mangga Dua computer shops will have to commence :(.Dave.

Putting the "eye-candy" to one side for a moment...What are the flight dynamics like? I wonder if it flies like the real thing (within the confines on FS..). I love the Real Air model for its accurate flight dynamics, especially the great stall and spin modelling.I do agree the interior modelling on the A2A version looks wonderful however if you're just going to sit there admiring the interior of the cockpit your flying skills will suffer somewhat!? :(

In very short. Flight dynamics cannot be compared between Realair and A2A spit. The accusim is WAY outclassing anything currently available. Just go buy the A2A spit with accusim.. Go visit A2A and read their forums as that might give you a bit of insight what this A2A plane is all about. Accusim let them handle the flight dynamics engine management etc all controlled out of FSX, so there is no more constraints...

Don't worry - you won't have time to do that.....Oh yes - do be careful with the brakes...... :(

Thanks again Scot. As I said quiet a surprise.Man I love the Spit. It is brilliant..!

Brilliant aircraft! Realism drips from every rivet. Right up there with the SuperBug. Such incredible graphics. And the sound is all next level stuff. Love opening the canopy and having the roar of the slipstream invade the cockpit. Then there is the flight model. It feels so alive! RealAir finally has some serious competition!Cheers,Noel.
