There are some chances that i'll buy HD6970 next week or two... I talked to one person who owns it and is very satisfied with it (EDIT: he is using it for FSX), if I'll get it I'll let You know how it performs. There are many improvements in 6xxx, but don't expect combined AA modes, that's for sure smile.gif

I do also own a GTX 260, really stabe and good, but I´ll upgrade if I have the money.I wouldn´t take a GTX 460, but a GTX 470 instead. I thought of the same as you, replacing my GTX 260 with a 460, but my retailer told me that the 460 won´t give you a big performance increase over the 260. He said I should go for the 470, there will be a increase of performance. And also the 470 is not so much more expensive than you think.

Best regards, Steffen

GTX 560 was just released. Get that or a 570.
But you should´n forget that the 560 has less CUDA cores as the 470, so there might be a difference in performance.

Since we are on video cards. What is the best video cards set up for dual monitors - on a new top end machine - not looking to save money? I was looking at dual 2 GB ATI Radeon HD6950 (but it says ATI Crossfire enaabled). If using dual monitors,do I need to disable something. I remember with my nVidia 8800 GTX dual cards I think I had to disable SLI mode.I just crashed twice yesterday with my PDMG 747 due to low memory, so if the NGX gives me the same problem, I'll upgrade to a new computer.Paul Gugliotta

Hello Cenk,i just tried Nvidia GTX 250 and ATI HD 5850 both (on my quadcore) and i will give you this advice : nvidia is a lot better (always been) to optimize antialiasingand its piece of cake with the inspector.ATI catalyst is more limited (or if someone has a tip wawwww!).Congrat by the way to PMDG but i will also bet my dollars on iFLY.
