Hi everybody, I am taking a look at Microsoft News Center.This news center is concentrating all strategic topics for the firm.What is strategic ? Microsoft "highest executives" are focused on Bing, Consumer products (Microsft. national survey to inspirenew generation of Doctors and scientitst),They are focused on BUILD and Kinnect, on Microsoft Dynamics, on Hardware department, on Dynamics depart.on MSN, Office, Security, Servers, Windows, Client, Windows 8, Windows embedded, aah..........and Windows Live and XBOX.So i suppose that in Windows Live department, there is 3% concern about FLIGHT.But i am following the News Center for quite a long time and don't see any news on FLIGHT.FLIGHT isn't even a far far sattellite of Microsoft core profits, it's a white dwarf sun.And we, poor simmers, are some free electrons graviting around some space rocks near this dwarf sun,(these poor desolated rocks are FS9 and FSX).For me, who lived the FS adventure from the beginning, it is not about fight or revenge. A few people, like Tenminutetaxi, like some others, try to find and share news as much as they can do. On this tiny market, this isreally difficult. But we try. So i don't know, i am not a rea life pilot but i fly under FS for a while and... a complete SID/STAR library, that's the minimum. Bu these guys, they are persistent : pom po pom our aircraft is so good it's for real pilots you don"t need SID/STAR. You can fly VFR..! or on old VORs frequencies.So this Navdata, we all expected last month.But rest assure, Ariane, like Icarus, will be reborn in some other name .... someday... something like Promising Design.

And you can also manage the GTX 460 with Nvidia inspector.I will say that usually the ATI HD give you a 20 % speed boost BUT you will loose in term of quality. andif you want to use best settings to neutralize the antlialiasing (and these fsx-genetic bugs) your fps wil drop back.Other argument, the ATI HD are more expensive than the Nvidias.* * * * *By the way, I also compared scores from my old GT 220 to the GTS 250 and the gain is marginal;...5 % top.So it is just about CPU CPU CPU CPU CPU CPU and its not a hasard if in America, a lot of people are now switching for an I5 or I7.In Europe, we are going to wait a while because of this stupid strong euro (the good I7 config are still at 800 euros (1100 bucks ?))To come back on the PMDG, i wonder (me too) what kind of surprised the 737 NGX is hiding in term... of FPS.....Masonhttp://airdailyx.blogspot.com/the insolent european FS blog !

Hello Cenk,i just tried Nvidia GTX 250 and ATI HD 5850 both (on my quadcore) and i will give you this advice : nvidia is a lot better (always been) to optimize antialiasingand its piece of cake with the inspector.ATI catalyst is more limited (or if someone has a tip wawwww!).Congrat by the way to PMDG but i will also bet my dollars on iFLY.
