PMDG is better for your pocket, and in no way comparable to Ariane.I Can not believe some people even think about buying iFly or Ariane instead of NGX.Don't bring it up dude.Jan Reineke

Mate, after all those topics heated up and locked asking this question is going to outshine what happens now in the US Senate..Anyway, maybe you haven't been around.. Ariane NG will bring you nothing but sorrow. IFly is miles (and years) behind PMDG. The 2011 flightdeck that comes with their product is on a 2008(tops) level. Better think about investing some money into upgrades and fine tune your FSX. Take my advise, its free :)

Well after purchasing the Ariane -700, I never received the activation key via email. After two (2) emails to their support over a two (2!) week period, I received no answers to my queries. $80 for a product not delivered that had no liveries if it had worked... I went to the bank and disputed the transaction, got my $80 back, and never looked back. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. A week after being credited back my $80 dollars, almost four (4!!!) weeks after purchase, I received a rude reply stating I should be patient next time. Some other people have had great success with their products, but they're grossly over priced. PMDG, if I crossed a line sharing this story here, I'm sorry. It was just a terrible experience I feel I should share.

To be honest I felt guilty and somewhat impatient disputing the payment, but had I not received the product within 3 weeks I wouldn't have been able to dispute the payment at all! After the rude "follow up" email, though, I felt much better about the decision.

I remember this aswell and laughed my &@($* off, they have no such power, infact its quite the opposite, Vendors pay fee's to be able to use credit card company's like Visa for example in helping their customers make purchases. If Visa for example keeps receiving disputed purchases from customers regarding a certain vendor, they usually get a good talking to and can lose their privilege of using a Visa payment method on their website, which for downloadable purchases would be a huge deal.

we wont really and truly know untill its on all ours systems but they (PMDG) said time and again its going to be on par with the MD-11. The MD-11 just happens to be one of the best performing airliners I have on my system so that kind of answers that for me. I got the Ariane when it came out as it looked good, but alas its really very poor indeed. Would not consider buying from them again unless they really changed their managment.
