February 2, 201115 yr Damn that's a great one... the one I would recommend lol!I mean you could have just gotten a lemon... but still not sure. I'd also look into the video card. Is it overclocked at the factory by any chance? My MSI 8800GT was factory overclocked and it BSODed me in a few games. I had to turn it back to reference settings... | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Yeah the graphics card is factory overclocked. But geez, the guy who built it for me said they booted everything up and it was running like dream. Got an update though, and I believe the monitor is confirmed to be the lemon but I will get my buddy who built it to make sure this weekend. I called LG, they said it was the graphics card. I called EVGA, they said it had to be the monitor. Nobody want's the blame for the POS device!! The LG person i chatted with yesterday obviously didn't have a clue bc he said that i couldn't hook up the monitor with hdmi and evga said he was full of crap cause he walked me through hooking it up with hdmi except we were having issues with the monitor recognizing the connection. The evga guy also confirmed that after testing the DVI connection and it didn't work between the monitor and the card then it has to be the cord or the monitor. I hardly believe it's the cord. SO....... I've hooked a friend's old DELL monitor and tested flight sim, and I've just had it hooked up for about 2 hours now and no blips, shut-offs, or nothing. SO.... Time for another Newegg RMA!!! Damn that's a great one... the one I would recommend lol!I mean you could have just gotten a lemon... but still not sure. I'd also look into the video card. February 3, 201115 yr Commercial Member Just a thought;I found a few PC's where the card was not quite seated in the motherboard and the screens come and go. It was an issue with the chassis back panel not being quite perfect and the motherboard not being precisely located.Regards; Steve Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
