Well that didnt work, oh yea, i removed the UIAutomationcore.dll as win7 64 was crashing, would this have anything to do with rc freezing?

what file is that? if windows 7 64 bit is crashing (i can't remember the last time windows 7 crashed), then your problems are probably outside rc. let's work on getting a stable hardware/os platform before we start troubleshooting applications.jd

Hello again JD, that file that i removed was apparently linked to the clicking of the mouse a certain number of times and also when changing views, it causes ctd. It was a tip pinned in the rex forum, a well known problem for 7 64 bit users, i will admit that since removing this file i have not had 1 ctd and all other progs seem to work fine

Unfortunatly no Ron, wish it was the default atc drives me mad, ive been using rc for about 2 years now and ive never experienced this before, might have to save up for 32 bit win7 unless i do a reformat but ive only built this rig in the last 2 weeks. The os is oem, this shouldnt matter should it?

RC4 is running to my knowledge OK on other Win 7-64 systems. You say you've updated FSUIPC4 (today it is version 4.661). Are you starting FS also with a shortcut setup to run as admin?RC is not running now with just FS and RC, correct? Default aircraft should be used for testing.If you alt-tab when an error occurs do you get to any warning dialog?Also for these tests don't run FS with real-time downloaded weather which periodically updates.And, don't laugh but just to be sure, you have set up RC4 installed in the RC4X folder for FSX, correct, and that's the one your shortcut is set up for?There is also a Win 7 32 bit compatibility mode available. I don't know if it interferes with all FS and add-on related process communications between 64 and 32 bit applications.

Same as before, rc just does not respond. That dll was removed from the start, no new problem with rc just the same as before

FSX, Win 7 x64I have just bought RC4 after months of preparing. It's realy frustrating I have the same problem as christos :Phbbbt:I have reinstall FSUIPC (not registered), I run RC as admin, I have installed RC in custom folder (not program files) - same error.First of all - I have no any adventure text display, but as I think its FS9 option only...I load the flight, I load the flightplan, I start RC, I load flightplan in RC, i lunch RC. In flight some RC window appears with weather and contact to ground options. And the nightmare starts here. I cannot close this window. RC stays displayed constantly. RC sometimes looks like it would be frozen, sometimes it responds but with very strange delay - sometimes after few seconds, sometimes after about 30 sec.I took a few flights with default C172. Only once I was lucky to get clearance and see the other options. Beside this one chance, when I hit "2" key for ground contact, for 1 second "standby" appears and immediately returns to previous screen. I am sorry for my english If I have written something not clearly. Please help us or I will try to give RC back and retrieve my money :(

after 23 posts, it's hard to tell what "same error" is.what error are you getting.you will not have an adventure text display. that's been gone since 4.0, it won't be in the modules menu, either. rc menus are in the fsuipc window.after you start fs, and load the plan, is the plane at the gate, clock ticking on the panel? you can't be on a fs menu. you can't be in the fs flight planner window, you can't be in the fs choose a flight screen. fs has to be ready to fly.what rc window stays displayed constantly? if you are referring to the fsuipc window, with the rc menus, that's true. it will not go away. you can resize, and move it wherever you want.when you press 1 or 2 is the fs window the window that has focus? are there any other add-ons that might be using the 1 or 2 key? if so, you will have to change the key assignments in those add-ons, or change the keys in the rc keyboard assignment screen.do you have the rc option autotune on contact checked? if not, are you tuning the radio to the correct frequency?the only way i can tell what is happening on your machine, is if you make a log. instructions pinned to the top of the forum. duplicate the problem, zip up the log, and send it to me. i can pretty quick what is wrong on your machine.

the first item will fix your painful delaysmake a log and send it to me if you have any other issues. i can see what's going wrong on your machine a lot faster that way.

Unchecked first item and looks like my problems gone. But I took just 1 quick flight. I hope it all would be fine now. If no I will write and send a log. Thank you very much jd
