Screenshots look great! If anyone was going to do it then it would be one of the developers. That being said (I know there is still a large FS9 following), with Flight on the horizon FS9s days are numbered as far as third-party developer addons. Luckasz did this as a proof of concept. Maybe he can go back and tweak FS2002! I bet my rig I have today gets great framerates.Lets use these techniques in FSX and the NGX. Now there's an idea.

That's not necessary, as FSX already allows all this, and more... :(

Bill, you hit the nail on the head.
... That being said (I know there is still a large FS9 following)...
"Large" of course being relative, like "There is a large number of people who don't own a cell phone", or, "I spilled a large glass of water into the ocean", or "a large portion of your taxes are not wasted".

I realize how much more FSX can do than FS9. :( I was referring to the polygon count limit that Ryan says is in FSX that they are hitting that is stopping them from adding even more detail.

It's actually not a polygon limit. It's an animated part limit, which for some reason is hard coded into FSX.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was confused for a bit.

Yeah, I don't think I ever said poly limit, I said animation limit.

Sorry about that. I was confused with another topic where I saw a 64K limit. I realize now it was about FS9.
