Can you be more specific? is it a fresh FSX install? SP1, SP2 , Acceleration?

yes I have microsoft fsx deluxe install Acceleration

Before I had my present rig, I had a Phenom 1090T @3.8 , 8gb ddr3 1600, gigabyte 5870, installed on an MSI 890fx GD70 MB. I had FSX, with Acceleration, Ground Environment, Ultimate Terrain, Real Environment Extreme, with Ultimate Traffic 2. I used Bojote's automated tweak utility, and it worked pretty well for me. With the CS727, at the default KJFK, I would get me frames in the mid teens, but once away from NYC and at altitude it ran at my framelock of 25. Do you have Bojote's shader mod installed? It did make a difference on my machine. I wish I could have kept it if I could have, long story but I had to switch to a mATX case and had to build a new machine. What are your settings in CCC? Have you defragged your hard drive? Don't give up on it..Matt

Exactly, it's a good CPU but luvairbus, help us help you. Name your addons, tell us if it started happening out of the blue, when you installed something, always happened, what do you mean by "lag"? Take 5 minutes to explain exactly what you did and what you see

In comparison , have you ever watch a video on you tube - etc and it just freeze and buffer thats the way my FS is.Today I came home from school I try to put the fsx sliders some below norm and some norm and it still act up - this frustrate me and fsx is the reason I spent money to get the processor.I watch videos on you you tube with lower specs and it run better than mine .( what is wrong then) I don't know what else to do ?----please in many different languages help me- . luvairbus:Easy to get stressed over these kind of things.After reading posts such as yours for many years now, I've observed that more often than not, FSX is not the problem.Start with simple, non-invasive efforts to improve your experience.1. Go to Start: type "msconfig" without quotes in the "Start Search" box (this in Vista, your system might be different)2. Under the Services Tab, check "Hide all Microsoft services"3. How many services are left? Something there you don't know what it is? Use google, and if it's not needed, disable it.4. Go to the Startup Tab5. Disable all Startup items. You can always enable them later.Run FSX. Same problems? Different problems? What do you get?

Does RealTemp support AMD processors? Because mine's not supported when I try run it.Anyways here's a good, nice and light temp (and even voltage) monitor; HWMonitor.@luvairbus, what CPU cooler are you using; the stock cooler for the Athlon, the stock cooler for the Phenom, or an after market cooler? Also did make sure that the cooler got set correctly on the CPU socket, and that thermal paste was applied evenly across the CPU surface?Also when you upgrade CPUs (this is relative to AMDs only) you should update the mother board BIOS to the latest version as well. If your computer was a prebuilt from a company like Dell [for example,] go to their site and search the computer model number and look for relative downloads for the BIOS for it.If you built the computer just go the mother board manufacture's site and search the board model number and and download the relative BIOS for it. They'll give you instructions on how to update the BIOS when you get to the download page for it (or a link to a page with the instructions.)Just please give us the hardware specs of your rig, I.e: Mother board brand and model, PSU brand and model, RAM brand and model, hard drive brand and model, etc.

That's right Paul, Real Temp and Core Temp are useless for AMD CPUs. HWMonitor will read the CPU temp (the core temps are not valid readings)luvairbus, you need to go step by step, check that your system is stable in the first place. Use HWmonitor and make sure your CPU is not overheating. Use GPU-Z to check your 5770 temps also.If you had the same thing happen with your former CPU then maybe it's your 5770. try running a graphics benchmark like Unigine Heaven keeping an eye at your GPU temps all the time.What graphics driver version are you using? If heaven benchmark runs ok, then there's probably something wrong with your FSX installation. Back up your system and reinstall FSX, install one addon at a time to pinpoint where the problem is, or uninstall 1 addon at a time and test FSX

Nothing wrong there aparently. Did you check the GPU temp while running Heaven Benchmark?Did you take a look at Matt¡s post? Does it lag only in clouds? What are your settings in CCC?
