Hey Ross,A famous FS movie-maker (ronaldcgriffin) has posted a video about ENB and in the describtion you can see his whole enbseries.ini. His whole enbseries.ini:

Is it correct that you can not use ENB and FPS_Limiter at the same time?

Yeah, because they both use the same method to hook into Direct 3D - someone needs to make a combined FPS limiter and HDR plugin (I believe ******* Altuve was working on this).

this is getting interesting now but for clarification first: when talking about ENB, are you referring to *******' shader model?Reason I ask is that I do use his shaders with fps limiter 0.2 and either the ATC window - when being dragged with the mouse into a corner or so - lights up like a christmas tree (difficult to describe, but it is really glowing) or right now when dragging the ATC window it is - well - lagging, i.e. it does not move smoothly and rather jumps over the screen. Does not happen with any other windows, e.g. the FMC when opened using the PMDG747... Could the cause be the limiter running together with the shader?phil

No, ENB = the external High Dynamic Range lighting dll a lot of people use. Has nothing to do with his shader mods.

Which one wins if you have both running Ryan?I have ENB installed in FSX and start FSX with the FPS_Limiter shortcut so which ends up actually running?I have noticed occasionally the green FPS display of the limiter but not everytime I run FSX.ThanksDave Wild

Can you elaborate on this? I use the FPS Limiter to externally limit frames in FSX and use ENB mod on all flights. Is it because of this that I can get unrecoverable black screens after long flights in FSX upon accessing a menu?

Exact same problem for me, would be good to get a fix for this i.e the black screens after accessing menu after a long flight. As both the FPS limiter and ENB are essentials for me. On another note, when I use the ENB and FPS limiter the frames are still limited, although not as well as when ENB is off, but they are still limited.Only reason I mention this is because many say FPS limiter will not work at all with ENB

I don't know which takes precedence - asking for "fixes" for these things is probably never going to happen either btw - the author of the ENB mods does not develop it any further (it's not even designed for FSX, it's designed for the Grand Theft Auto games) and FPS_Limiter is a generic utility someone made a long time ago, also not designed specifically for FSX.We'll just have to wait for someone like ******* to write a new combined utility for FS if he's still working on that.

any news here as I am interested in a combined limiter and ENB mod...

From what I read on another forum you could try to rename a copy of the "d3d9.dll" to somthing like "d3d9s.dll" and ad the new .dll name to the proxy library entry in you enbseries.ini like this "ProxyLibrary=d3d9s.dll" But that topic was about the Antilag fps limiter rather than FPS_limiter. I don't know if it'll work but it's worth a shot I guess.
