For the 2nd time in a short time frame the release of the 'Airbus Evolution' update package has been postponed. The 1st delay was 2 weeks, now it is postponed for 4 weeks until March 28.I mean, how difficult can it be? They should not publish any release date, unless they are for 99% sure they can deliver. It's all about managing expectations, nothing more.But on the positive site: They reconfirm their already crappy reputation :(

Maybe they want to announce early so that more people will know about their products and they will be more curious :( Rather than a surprised release.Or, HOPEFULLY, they think their "upgrade list" are too small compare to the money of it,so they are putting in some more features :(

And if they didn't give out an estimated release date, they would be getting constantly harassed by requests for one. Just look at PMDG. Outside of a perfect world, it's an impossible game for developers to win.Just be patient and thankful that we still have devs making/updating products for FS9.

As I said, it's about managing expectations, just as simple as that. If they just posted something like 'Expected Q2 2011' than it's just fine.I find it rather silly that they can't predict a 2 weeks horizon. I'm a professional developer myself and if I can't be sure for 99% to release within 2 weeks, I just don't say anything.

The problem is not that they announced it early, but that they provided a fixed date, which they now have changed twice. I'm actually interested in buying this package, I think it suits me just fine, but they've made a bit of a mess out of this. Add to that the nonsensical answers I got from their "support" and I can understand why they don't have a good reputation. So no Evolution addon for me for now, if ever. Instead, I'm getting the iFly 737 NG today. That seems like a good example of getting it right.:(

Good call, Mike; I don't think you'll regret that purchase. I'd love to buy the Wilco Airbus, since it seems likely to be the best one ever to be available for FS9, but I keep hearing negative feedback from users. Hopefully the upcoming patch may change this.

I don't know why but their Airbus is quite hard on frames to my system.Besides that, I have no comment about their VCs and panels. It's just their models

I have since gotten the iFly 737 package and I'm liking it, a lot. But I still want a smaller Aiburs package with some more functionality than what my Overland aircraft are offering me. Seems there is no alternative other than Wilco. Supposedly, it was coming out this Monday, today I find the following:
