March 11, 201115 yr I want to be able to fly the 737-800's into 5,000 foot rwy's in Australia....airports like YBUD (Bundaburg) and YPMQ (Port Macquaire). This is possible in real life but on with a SFP modification. This SFP would require a change in the Exterior Model, T/O LND Distance, Brake De-acceleration and Fuel Burn. A lot of work I might add, I'd like to know if we'll be getting this with the initial release?Reference:http://www.b737.org.uk/flightcontrols.htmCheers! March 11, 201115 yr i can try and dig it up for you. i mentioned it in a topic before and Ryan said that they are putting the full SFP on the 800, and i thing parts of it on the 700. Dylan Leonard

March 12, 201115 yr Author Flight spoilers are capable of 60 degree deflection on touchdown by addition of increased stroke actuators. This compares to the current 33/38 degrees and reduces stopping distances by improving braking capability. Main gear camber (splay) reduced by 1 degree to increase uniformity of braking across all MLG tyres.Reduction of engine idle-thrust delay time from 5s to 2s to shorten landing roll. Fuel savings vary with series and route structure but may average up to 4.3%.http://www.b737.org....ghtcontrols.htm Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

May 21, 201115 yr I hope the team developped that wheels getting flame out afther using hard brakes. (Thats as real as it gets) Maybe we can smell the burning from the simulator :( Volkan
