March 30, 201115 yr You aren't alone experiencing that, Farid. My scenery database also rebuilds itself every time that I run FSX, and I don't know why. I think it started just after I had installed the Shawbury Fields scenery package from Earth Simulations. I haven't noticed any problems related to this, but I am curious to know why it is happening. March 30, 201115 yr I had a slightly different problem, but the solution may be the same. Open the Scenery manager and disable all addon scenery. Then enable one at a time until you find the culprit. It's time consuming but it worked for me. Turned out a defrag had corrupted one of my scenery files and and soon as I disabled that, all was fine. Jay
March 30, 201115 yr I have a similar problem. My computer will rebuild the scenery database about once or twice after I load up an aircraft at an airport.one time it did it periodically throughout the flight... but it never did that again..very odd, didn't used to do that. Ciao!

March 30, 201115 yr All,Scenery.cfg re-builds are done when adding traffic, some scenery, and when the time changes on your computer. Scenery refreshes in FS when the time changes also.
