April 17, 201115 yr Everyone,I've been having issues Autolanding both the Vol1 and Vol2 of the Wilco Airbuses. The plane captures the LOC and the GS but then goes below the GS and lands 300 to 400 feet before the runway. Experimented at different airports with different airbuses and same thing.Anyone have any solutions?Zeke
April 18, 201115 yr I replaced the autopilot section in the aircraft.cfg with another plane's. That solved the issue for me. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
April 26, 201115 yr Author Which plane did you switch it for? I've tried PMDG, IFly, PSS and other feelthere aircraft and still have the same issue.
April 26, 201115 yr If using real-time/world weather be sure you have updated the barometric pressure setting ( B on keyboard) before starting the approach. If all aircraft are doing this that may be the culprit.Bill
April 27, 201115 yr Checked the barometer setting, still doing it. Any other ideas guys?what other add-on's are you using while flying...........
April 27, 201115 yr Author ASE, REX, ActiveSky Evo and that's it. With the airports I've tried it at a ton of default and payware and freeware and still the same result.
April 28, 201115 yr Maybe try adding 5 knots to your final approach speed? I'll post my autopilot section for you when I get home. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
April 29, 201115 yr I am having this exact same problem. Appoach data looks ok. Wonder what the cuprit is. Regards, Max (YSSY) i7-12700K | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB 3600MHz DDR4 | Gigabyte RTX4090 24Gb | Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 | Corsair HX1200 PSU
April 30, 201115 yr I am having this exact same problem. Appoach data looks ok. Wonder what the cuprit is.Hi there,Maybe fuel on board? remember, a plane came to land after a flight, most of the time with very little fuel on board, if you take a plane just to fly around the airport for a couple off touch and goes, will have the tanks nearly full, and this could be the reason!!best regardsCub 51
