Your running the same set up as I am for the Dallas area as well.If you like to fly any g/a in the area you should download the excellent 52F here in the library. Its a great little airport northwest of DFW and is payware quality. Here's the file name: mm_52foxtrot_v1_1.zip
I have all of Manny Malhotra's stuff, he's really good. If you have Megascenery Oahu, FSDT PHNL, Aerosoft Hawaii Dillinghan, and Manny's free addons for Oahu, you can do the same thing there, it's FS heaven!

The AI appears normal while taxiing it's just that on my G1000 traffic appears on my screen and it's below my elevation.
So, if I understood correctly, you see the scenery normally, and AI are normal, they only appear to have a lower elevation on the G1000 ? If yes, it's possible the G1000 it's confused by the fact the scenery is entirely 3d, to allow elevated taxiway bridges.

Well the odd thing is the AI depicted isn't the guys taxiing around, it's a large box-shaped assortment of them. And now the altitudes read zero.... odd Here's a pic:box.jpg

Ok, now I understand. It's absolutely normal, it's not a "bug" of the scenery, but it's how it's made, and the G1000 is simply confused by showing as AI something that is instead a static object. Those are the terrain tiles that, in order to allow shaders, had to be created in C++ as Simobjects and handled as thatOf course, they are correctly flagged as static objects, it's just the G1000 that shouldn't display them, and should instead display only airplanes. In fact, the F/A-18 radar (which we made) shouldn't have this issue, because it only asks for *airplanes* to show, not boats, cars or even worse, static objects.

Old post but I have a question - Was there ever an update for the G1000, Ryan, for the static objects showing as AI as your pic above?
