May 12, 201115 yr I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, so if it's not, please move. I recently finished mapping all the keystrokes to my g940 using the Logitech gaming profiler. Now when I go into fsx, it doesn't recognize I did anything. The only thing that works are the axis's and a couple random butting I didn't program. I don't think anything is wrong with the g940 since it's works flawlessly in other games. Anyone have an idea? May 14, 201115 yr Author Ya i know, that's what you're supposed to do. Otherwise it won't send any button assignments to the game. May 15, 201115 yr I have a Logitech G940, used it when I fist started with FSX, but its been awhile so I'm playing off memory. Doesn't Logitechs profiler rely on the identifying the .exe for the program? Do you have it pointing to the right program? If I were you I would just get FSUIPC registered/or just use the in-game cotroller settings.
May 15, 201115 yr I use the G15 and have the G keys as shortcuts for FS keys, you need to create a profile for FSX and make sure you tick the "Lock profile while game is running"
May 18, 201115 yr Author @ SawyerI dont have the option to check that. I think it's different for the g940 Case: CM HAF 932 Mobo: MSI 890FXA-GD70 CPU: AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition OC'd to 4.0 GHz CPU Cooler: CM V6 GT GPU: Sapphire HD 6870 RAM: Patriot Viper Xtreme 8Gb (2x4Gb) 2000MHz PS: CM 700w Silent Pro HDD: WD Caviar Black 1Tb OD: LG BluRay/DVD combo OS: Win7 Pro 64-bit Logitech G940 Flight System MS Flight Simulator X

July 12, 201114 yr Hi guys, thought I'd add my problem to the mix to see if someone has any idea's.Just got the Logi G940 and haven't a clue where to go from there.I'm running FSX with registered Fsuipc.Do I clear everything and use Profiler?, or FSX control setup?, or Fsuipc?Should I run 32bit or 64 bit drivers (my OS is Win7 64bit.)I'm at a loss entirely especially when it comes to the throttles, they are doing weird stuff, moving as if either on or off.Controls are fine in Rise of Flight, not using profiler at all for that. But buggered if I can figure out who, what, when , where or how to set things in FSX.Thanks in advance for any idea's.CheersRod
July 15, 201114 yr I'll just put my two cents in. I had a similar problem with the Logitech G13 until I went to their site and downloaded the latest drivers for the device. Works great now. Anyway, just a suggestion.CaptMac
July 17, 201114 yr Thanks for you thoughts CaptMac. I did get the drivers, and the firmware but the issue seems to be one of 'Who' will control the devices Profiler, FSX, or FSUIPC.I seem to have it working (crossed fingers) satisfactorily at the moment although I am noticing erratic throttle movement with minor touches and am hoping it's not these 'spikes' that I hear about.I shall continue to persevere and hope for the best.CheersRod
