Would you like to have this aircraft in FSX?

Featured Replies

HI all, I'm trying to model this aircraft: Tecnam P2006T . I wonder how many of you would like an aircraft like that in fsx? Or do you have something similar to propose me. Thanks for your replies.

Damn that's fugly, it looks like the out of wedlock child of an OV-10 and BN Islander :( But, the more the merrier where FS aeroplanes are concerned, so if you want to model it, go ahead. That tailfin looks pretty small incidentally, makes me wonder what it flies like with an engine out?Al

Well I choose it basically because it's simple and it's a twin engine but anything like that will do as long as it has simple cockpit gauges that I can make myself. But what I would really like to model is a small twin jet engine but they usually come with an fms, nd and all that stuff that is hard to program. :(

What you could do in that case, is model something and give people an option to put the ISG FMC and related avionics into it. All you'd need to do is put a dummy FMC gauge in the VC so that people could swap it out and make sure that the LNAV and VNAV buttons on the MCP were small gauges that could be swapped out for the ISG ones. That's only the same as when developers leave a slot for a weather radar or the CIVA INS, so it is not unknown, Captain Sim, Aerosoft and PMDG have all done something along those lines on occasion.Al

That is an option too. I will look up for some business jet like from Dassault Aviation. I think there is also the possibility to make a simple xml FMC. But I'll have to learn more xml to be able to do that. Thanks

Chock. Engine out that aircraft is purely amazing! If I remember rightly when I flew one we were messing around with engine out and EFATO stuff, and I think it had a critical engine, and with that 'failied' the performance with 2 up and 70% fuel was fantastic, it would easily climb! That twin is (should) be the future of ME IR training! Fantastic to fly and is very economical, there was a good article a while back in Pilot in I remember correctly, they thought it was a fantastic aircraft!Just looked in the logbook, that was a Tecnam P2002JF I flew,..But if they build their aircraft as well across the board, that would be as good!

I didn't notice the link in your sig. Looks pretty nice so far. Are you going to dirty the ground a bit more, like tire tracks over the taxi lines and stuff like that, so it doesn't look so clean?Sean Campbell

Of course. I did that earlier but didn't like it, so I'll redo it. I want to look more natural and smoothly blending with other surfaces.

Is there an AFCAD below it for AI traffic? Looks good so far.
