That's the one... I'm also curious about where the thread went, and if anyone has downloaded it? I don't have any weather generator addons, so this might be for me.

I have downloaded it and for what it's worth,it is good,if maybe not as intensive or punchy as REX,but it gives a fairly better weather engine than the default 'cotton balls'.And,moreover its zero bucks. So,all in all,IMHO,cannot be bad.

Thanks, any issues with it? Does it manipulate anything it shouldn't lol? I've had weather stuff in the past that damaged my FSX structure.

Works fine here, and you can even 'smooth' the winds aloft without FSUIPC. It will also run from a second computer via Simconnect.

I have been using it for a few weeks now and really like it. The only problem which is not actually a problem is that when I start it up I get a error saying that it was not shut down properly. I asked about it in their forum and they say it is not a problem but simply a way for them to be able to trouble-shoot problems. The wind smoothing works great for me as well. I never would use winds alots till I started using this.Jim

HelloI have been using this across my network and it is working well, lightweight and starts up quickly unlike ASE.When this one finally goes payware I will most likely buy it.

No issues found to date.I use it all the time now to generate weather and it does not hit my system resources.I find it far better and realistic compared to FSX's default 'cotton fluffs'.
