I would ensure that I could buy them both. I love the MD-11 just because the plane and systems are different. The MD-11 is just a plane that always is a dream to fly, I will fly other planes but I always find myself climbing back into the MD-11 seat. NGX is an awesome plane as well and everyone will be quite pleased when she is released. Take it from me, you will be happy with either plane but I would suggest you get both.

The MD-11 does not fly many short flights that I like to do so its all a personal prefrence.
I see what you mean, but don't forget all the cargo operators who still use it. FDX has a ton, and MEM-EWR is actually a decently short route.

Agreed. I can't put the MD-11 down.From all I saw (a blip on an ARTS display), the NGX looked awesome. It performed well on a short approach, too...or was that the pilot?
