Real Air Turbine Duke

Featured Replies

Being mostly a 'heavy' pilot I am tempted to buy the Turbine Duke from Real Air.I have read the review and nowhere does it state what system they used in the review? I believe they used to before. My question is; Is it worth the money and will it run on my system?NVidea 8800GTBoard: NF-CK804 Bus Clock: 201 megahertz2.00 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core256 kilobyte primary memory cache1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache2048 Megabytes Usable Installed MemoryThanks to all responding and please tell me what you think of it?

I'm a huge fan of RealAir. That being said things might be a little rough on your system. I've found it to be about a 25-30% fps loss compared to default C172 VC. I had a list of all my planes and how the fps were relative to default C172 VC, and now I can't find it.edit: From your siggy... if you're flying the ifly plane with ease you should have no problems with this...It's a amazing plane though, perhaps you could contact them and try to work something out?

You know that the Turbine Duke is FSX, don´t you? So from that perspective with allready demanding FSX in line it will definitely a bit rough. On my old system, wich consisted of an Core 2 Quad oc´ed to 3 GHz it was hardly flyable over FTX PNW with massive drop downs in some situations. But nevertheless it´s an awesome plane and the support is outstanding.

Best regards, Steffen

IMHO The RealAir Duke and her "Hotter" Younger Sister Turbine model warrant a switch to FSX and a PC System upgrade......It's that good!Big%20Grin.gif

Compared to the F! Mustang or PMDG JS41 the Turbine Duke is a lightweight. Besides that it is the BEST CA twin ever for FSX!Cheersjja
