Pay attention to the exclamation field just above the text on wikipedia. It states:

This article is written like an advertisement. Please help rewrite this article from a neutral point of view. For blatant advertising that would require a fundamental rewrite to become encyclopedic, use {{db-spam}} to mark for speedy deletion.

Clearly it was written by PMDG members, maybe the same team that takes care of Facebook Fan-page. Indeed that's a sad (and sometimes unrealistic) article to see at wikipedia the way it is now. Maybe we could edit just like Wiki sugested: from a neutral point of view.

Oh, before you release your frustration on my last comment, keep in mind that Wikipedia is NOT an advertisement encyclopedia. We have a lot sheriffs here (some of them with unbelievable heavy staff-like language) hunting down people who just doesn't sign the real name... Give us a break, go hunt advertisement articles there! Do us this favour! Peace.

I like the last line at the bottom of the page under the fuzzy picture of the 767 "It doesn't get any better than this." After all the years, that is what we still say about PMDG!

While sarcasm won't protect the innocent or lazy, it at least allows the deliverer of sarcasm a means of escaping the banality that the aforementioned sometimes bring to the table. I suppose it'll always be easier to ask for directions that buy a map. I think PMDG is more likely a brand name than any reflection of purpose - another acronym which has lost any of its original context. Of course, since the MD-11, you can actually buy manuals from them, so I guess the name does regain appropos. At one point I thought we were to be offered a J-41 manual? I'd play if so.
