What did you win?

I would have to guess it will be closer to 738 actual purchases in the first 24 hours. How many FSX fans even know about the aircraft and out of those how many are actually waiting all day for it? I have seen this forum as high as just over 500 browsing this forum so that is a good indicator as well. The plane itself will do very well based on forthcoming reviews but that remains to be seen as well.

50,000 copies in the first 24 hours? I'm sure over the lifetime of the product it will have incredible sales, but I don't think there are 50,000 people chomping at the bit to pay $80 for a single addon aircraft for flightsim who will pull the trigger right at launch. I think the number of people who have "Liked" the PMDG Facebook page is probably a good indicator. I'd multiply that by 2 to account for people who don't use FB, and start there. Therefore I'll say for the very first day, 5,000 to maybe 15,000. Of course I hope it's more!

hmm. I would say about 300 or so. And steve, I'm not sure that the PMDG 737NGX will ever sell 150,000 copies... Ever. Let alone 24hrs.

the night departure video on youtube has been viewed 41000 times but the impact of this add on is going to be so big that it will be an ongoing seller i think. there are people currently unaware of its existence that will buy it in the future. first 24 hours? no idea. may 3000 ?

With such a high price, they have hurt their chances of super high purchase numbers. I don't think it will be much over 500 copies in the first 24 hours.
