VRinsight MCP Combo and PMDG NGX

Featured Replies

I would gladly pay anyone that uses the Vrinsight MCP Combo insturment add-on, to develope a profile so us novice users can use this with the 737NGX, Vrinsight says if the PMDG 737NGX comes with its own SDK and its open to all. It should not be difficult to create a profile. However this is above my level of expertise... Does anyone else use the vrinsight MCP Combo? Let me know... John

Hi there, I saw your posts on the vrinsight boards, hope vrinsight will create a direct profile for us since PMDG released the SDK to the public... I know about Linda, but do not have the expertise to create a profile for the MCP-Combo, that is why I was willing to pay for one, maybe we can put some funds together and get someone to do it for us. Do you have the expertise to create a profile or know someone that does? ThanksJohn.

I just heard from Vrinsight via email,..... they have told me that they are making a profile so that we can use the MCP-Combo with the NGX, it will be out in a week or so. Please email at <deleted> to support the need that this profile be created for MCP-Combo Thanks again John.

I find that it is a good idea to be many to make the demand. I have just made mine at the address indicated by John. Applause.gif( I do not buy 737 NGX before being sure to be able to use my MCP with this one). He%20He.gif

John please remove the email address from the forum, enough emails get lost in the mile high pile of spam as it is without you making it any harder, please obscuvate it so spam bots cannot read it.Also if they have already told you they are working on the 737 what is the point of bombarding them with more requests? The support team and software developer are one and the same, think about that! They can't do two things at once.

Cheers, Andy.

Hey John, Don't lose sleep over this but I happen to agree with Andy. I know all to well what it's like to get a million e-mails and only a few being legit. I went ahead and removed the e-mail addy but certainly appreciate your post and your enthusiasm! Enjoy the NGX gents, I know I am.

Sincerely,

Chase

I'm doing one for myself. It'll take me some time as I also need to configure my buttons and axes, so if no one else comes up with a profile before I do, I'll let you know when it's readyFor free, of course, hehe

Fair enough but Linda is easier to use once setup and its hardly rocket science, certainly no harder than manually editing the fmer.ini etc which he will have to do with your kind effort anyway on you have completed it. I'm still busy trying to figure out why most of the VC click spots don't work with a mouse for me, I've only done once circuit so far and I've had the thing nearly 24 hours now.

Cheers, Andy.

Guess it's time for me dump these crappy Saitek 'Pro' (ha!) panels on ebay and get something that works;-)

In a couple of hours (after little more testing) we plan to publish an updated version of NGX module with some important enhancements. Displays are still not synced, though.
