FPS Limiter for dx10?

Featured Replies

Can someone suggest a good one? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Found one called Dxtory, seems to work just fine.

A FPS limiter. Doesn't the in built FSX one work with DX10. Try the one on Bojote's tweaking site if you are looking for an external one.

Wait until you fly at night with most payware airports.

You need to run the .gui file and lead it to your fsx.exe then it creates a .bat and you run from that.

That's because it disables AA and a bunch of other things. I very much disagree that it's "much better graphics" - almost nothing changes.Regarding the limiter - you cannot use them in DX10. Those limiters hook the Direct3D 9 dll specifically, they will not work with Direct3D 10.

No but you can do it already (this is what I do) using ENB's "Proxy" setting with the "antilag" FPS limiter.

I tried using the antilag limiter, and FSX crashed 5 times in a row trying to load a flight.Had to control alt delete and force restart every time. Went back to FPS Limiter 0.2 and I could load FSX flights again.

Make sure that you have Java installed on your system. Will not work without it.
