Please sign your name to your posts. Did you by chance load the NGX on top of another livery of the NGX or another complex aircraft when you saw this?

Hi, I also have this problem sometimes, especially after a CTD. Then when I restart FSX and load the 737 NGX all 2D panels are corrupted (no knobs, no switches). CDU just diplays a corrupted image. In the VC I only see black screens. I tried uninstalling 737, deleting all remaining PMDG 737 folders and .DLLs, reinstalled the 737 but this did not solve the problem. After some attemps I found out, that all works fine again, if I load the PMDG MD-11 prior to the 737 NGX. Roland Koller

I forgot to mention i have the Ifly software installed on my computer, dont know if they can be in conflict with eachother or something.Have not installed any liverys yet for the NGX, was starting up the PMDG house livery right after the completion of the setup and went to a random airport, also it seems to be in "takeoff state" hence i hear the engine sound which is in idle but shows max power. All lights turn on and working. Refering to TiRex's post i have the same trouble with the PFD, ND etc in VC modeNamnlos1.png?t=1312653666 //Anton Lundqvist

+1 to this topic- I have the exact same issue. Even the VC picture above is what mine looks like...

so, after a few hours of headache because of this i found one thing that i did before i started-800WL. Where you choose airplanes, you can also change the tail number, callsign and flight number, i usually leave the tail number blank because it looks better. Went in there again and typed in NG738PM as written from scratch and started up again, to my surprising, everything worked as it should without any problems, so now i can enjoy the software as it should be, in the air ! @Anton I have just bought this aircraft today.I also have the iFly product in my hangar, and so far have had no issues with both products being in the same folder,or any livery issues. This is just to reassure you that the iFly would not necessarily cause an issue with the PMDG product.

I had a similar problem when I first installed the NGX and I believe it was due to not allowing the 20 sec initialization period to go by before touching anything. I also rebooted after the install. Hope this helps. Best regards, Jeff Moss

every Nvidia user affected by stretched, compressed panels or buttons should try any different driver instead of the actual 275.33 WHQL certified 64bit It happened first with the FCP of the MD-11 in nighttime + specific Nvdia Inspector settings (i mentioned it here in the MD-11 forums some days ago) and saw today on a friends screenshot "splitted" upper and lower DUs in the NGX caused by this driver again. (on a fresh FSX installation) The 280.19 beta 64bit for example does like PMDG! ;-)

Now I have this issue again. Started FSX and loaded 737 NGX. No 20 sec initialization, just corrupted panels: 2D-Cockpit: Overhead: Radios: IRS: CDU: When closing FSX, FSX hangs and I must kill it via task manager. Restarting FSX does not resolve this. I have to load the PMDG MD-11 and then 737 NGX and all is fine again for the moment... Roland Koller

My advice would be to stay completely out of the 2D panel view. Utilize VC only and you will be fine. The 2D pop-up panels do not seem to effect the aircraft at all, as long as you access them in VC view.

"The aircraft G-limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular airplane. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no G-limits."

Hi Dylan, when I have this issue, the VC also does not work. It just shows black screens as you can see in the screenshot from Rullstolen and I can do nothing. In FSX settings I have configured Virtual 3-D-Cockpit as the standard cockpit view. Roland Koller

TiRex, did you by any chance change your tail number when selecting aircraft? I had exactly the same panles as you posted when i change it and when i typed in the standard tail number everything works as it should

Anton, yes I tried changing the tail number, but this did not solve the problem. I hat to load the MD-11 first and then the 737 NGX. Next time I'll try to load a different 737 model to see, if this also solves the problem. Loading a FSX standard aircraft does not help. Roland Koller
