Fan blades disappeared

Featured Replies

Anyone had this happen to them? I select the "Virgin Australia" livery and the fan blades disappear.

Not sure if this would help but I noticed in the Introduction there is a paragraph about tweaking FSX.CFG's Display section to avoid a "skeleton" effect on certain textures. Perhaps the fan blades would be affected by this if you don't modify that line? For instance, my VC textures were disappearing and going transparent under high loads until I changed that setting. Check Page 12 of the Introduction PDF, I'm not sure if I can copy and paste the small blurb due to the copyright.

Sincerely,

Chase

Thanks for sending the report to the dev team, Mats. For what it's worth, I've only used the United/Continental merger livery. Haven't tried house or any others.

I can report this error on my end as well. FSX.CFG set-up per the manual with FSX Acceleration. Happend last night with the Alaska 737-900WL. On the contrary, it did allow a good look at the engine core. laugh.png

The fan blades disappear if you do something the intro manual specifically said not to. I'll give a hint! Changing from one -800WL livery to another -800WL livery. Another hint: 0.00.22 If this is not the case, I'm at a loss.

I've had the same problem, and it's not just the fan blades that become a problem, all sorts of bugs come in, then I reload the plane and everything is fine again
