Good scenery for Europe

Featured Replies

Hi AllI have a question.I just got the new PMDG 737NG and am interested in flying around Europe with all the fantastic new liveries----here is my question----I use all the Mega Scenery earth while flying in the US and it is really wonderful--what do members think I should get to get similar scenery for the European Continent. I thank all who offer their ideas and opinionsCheersDorn Cranert

Ultimate Terrain X series is really good, especially once you apply the patches. There is UTX USA, UTX Canada, and UTX Europe.

On top of UTX Europe I would also add Ground Environment X. It is a must to add to the landclass.

Hello, What is the difference between the UT and GE?

Hello, What is the difference between the UT and GE?
UT is landclass, roads, buildings, autogen, class of terrain (urban, wood...).GE are class textures and other texturing. GE doesn't say what goes where, if I'm correct.

Hi To All of You,Thanks so very much for your information and opinions. I will buy a copy of said sceneries today and do a short hop from London down to Nice. All of you responders sound as if you are experienced simmers--but just in case new people join this thread I want to give a little plug for the new PMDG 737NG and Angle of Attack.I am a real life pilot and have been an avid simmer for almost thirty years---there have been many great Planes developed during that time, but the New PMDG Product is a virtual masterpiece---just watch the AOA video (1 hour long) on the PMDG web site if you want a taste of the quality of the product..For many, many years I have longed for a true ---super quality--training program for the Boeing 737NG series---Angle of attack has come close to providing something close to a real world Type rating course. Thanks again for all the input---I can't wait to fly some upgraded exciting European SkiesCheersDorn Cranert

Any other airports that Aerosoft sells that are very very good, Im getting into Europe and I need some airports that can be served by a NG. For example, they have the Holidy Desinations package, which includes 4 airports and I want to get it but Im not sure of the size of the airports or the quality, one thing is for sure I HATE autogen exludes around airports, you know where it flat and blank for like a couple hundred feet. I was thinking about Madiera but I dont know what year it was made and if the real airport has changed; ie longer runways, new terminal etc. I bought EHAM (Holland) and it was and absolute disgrace, autogen exludes for mile, terrible FPS ( I have a i5 2500K OCed to 4.8 and a GTX 480) and the textures on the termianls arn't even that good, not to mention the FPS at night make it un flyable, I later found out its made not by Aerosoft but by a company name Dream Studios and now I;ll NEVER be buying from them again. I talk to there support and they just ignored my post, o well. Aerosoft is hit or miss for me, I have Nice and it's great, maybe you guys could give me a coiple ideas of some of the BEST Aerosoft scenery.Cheers
