NGX Future Performance Update

Hello, not to make more of it, but I think there's been some confusion. This guy does not have a Pentium M. It's a Centrino 2, not 1! A 2.13 GHz Core 2 Duo... otherwise he would never run the 747 @ 30 fps. (I could be wrong though)

You are correct sir, I have a Centrino 2, which I thought is similar to a core 2 duo. Some seem to disagree.

I'm amazed you get +35 in cruise

I believe you are right cdzitu. Running the 37 @ 35 FPS with low sliders is pretty good considering all the processes in play...

I posted above I take good care of my system. Nothing but FSX and REX are installed on it, and I run cleaners, defrag, and drivers.

I believe this thread has run its course. Morgan, you have probably received most of the feedback possible for your configuration. If you have further questions, I would recommend you open a ticket with PMDG. They may be able to provide you further opportunities. http://support.preci...in/Default.aspx I would recommend we move on now. Big%20Grin.gif

Besides, maybe future updates will help the frames out. I do not believe I am the only one suffering a small loss in performance here.

I'm getting excellent performance.

I'd recommend not running HD clouds... run 1024... but then again, your NGX textures won't look nice either at 1024. Have you tried the ******* tweak site?http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html It's tough to offer advice when someone's running a dated system. I was running an AMD6000 with 8800GT, circa 2006/7 hardware and was ok. But what you're running is less powerful than even that. I'm not sure why you get offended when people tell you your system is too weak. It is. Period.
