August 8, 201114 yr If you have a WideScreen you should add this in you config.cfg file: • WideViewAspect=True I did this and zoomed out to 0.60. Now everything is as is should be. Andreas
August 9, 201114 yr Paul, I have been doing those but I guess I haven't perfected it. And andalusi, I will give that a try. Thanks guys. Best regards, happy flying, Wallace
August 9, 201114 yr Same problem here. The HUD and EZDOK don't work properly together. The only solution at the moment is to disable EZDOK when flying with the NGX. But this is the badest solution. You do not need to disable EZDOK. Read the posts here again, everything is explained. You can also download here in the forum the EZCA profile. Works very well and without problems. The solution is simple, set the zoom to 0.60 and then move your head to the position you want. You also can do that with the EZCA.
August 9, 201114 yr Same problem here. The HUD and EZDOK don't work properly together. The only solution at the moment is to disable EZDOK when flying with the NGX. But this is the badest solution. EzDok works perfectly and masterfully well with the NGX. This includes the EzDok and TrackIR combination. BTW, when using EzDok, the FSX eyepoint adjustments do not affect/adjust the EzDok cameras. To adjust the position of the HGS image on the combiner glass, simply edit the particular EzDok VC camera (NUM2 default) and adjust (Page Up/Dwn default). Note: if the adjustment is too course, simply adjust the VC Keyboard "gain" under EzDok Options. Cheers, Scott Ball
November 12, 201114 yr Apologies for resurecting this thread but if someone could explain in words of one syllabul how to sort this problem it would be much appreciated.Using Track IR and EZCA 1.17. How do I ''simply edit the particular EzDok VC camera (NUM2 default) and adjust (Page Up/Dwn default)''. Regards Howard H D Isaacs
November 12, 201114 yr You need to set the zoom to 0.3 then move your head to the correct position with that zoom level.Zoom at 0.3 will look so unrealistic and the silly old 'fisheye' occurs if using TrackIR. I posted a while back as experienced this too and changing my WideViewAspect= toTrue cured it Pre SP1 but I see I have the problem back again despite my setting still being 'true'. With it as true previously I could zoom up to 1.0 and still see it all perfectly Chris Ibbotson AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D / MSI AMD MPG x670E Carbon Motherboard / Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming OC 32GB GDDR7 PCI-Express Graphics Card / Corsair DOMINATOR Titanium RGB Grey 64GB 6000MHz AMD EXPO DDR5 / NZXT C1200 Gold ATX 3.1 - Fully Modular Low-Noise PC Gaming Power Supply - 1200 Watts - 80 PLUS Gold / 48” UltraGear™ UHD 4K OLED Gaming Monitor / 40" Philips 4K LED Monitor / Honeycomb Alpha Yoke / Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant / WinWing Orion Rudder Pedals c/w dampener / WinWing Ursa Minor Airline Joystick / WinWing Airbus MCDU
