Not always. You know the 777 plastic sim in Berlin? Afaik it was something like 17million .. Anyway.. i just made some tests with the NGX. I put my A/C to PHNL on RWY 26L. One test with the NGX and one with default FSX 737. 1. test with everything at maximum and 1920x1080 resolution NGX: between 18 and 40 framesDefault: between 100 and 120 frames 2. test with everything as low as possible (looks like some 4/86) and 1024x768 NGX: between 22 and 48 framesDefault: between 100 and 130 frames I dont really get it. It seems, that graphic doesnt matter to my computer but why on earth it is that slow with NGX (eating up around 80 fps) ? I have an i7 and even if its a laptop, i have 16 GB of RAM and i can run any other current game on highest resolution without ever coming below 30 frames. ps: all tweaks enabled as written in the manual and also that ******* stuff.. The MD11 is running at 70-90 fps.

I know him very well FT62, I'm often instucting on him. I once had two guys from Lufthansa Flight Training in the sim,who are purchasing sim's for the company, and they told me something around 25 Mil.Euro. It was on the 777 in fact. Sven

poor guy.. no instructor likes that sim at all (at least all instructors i know there, maybe you are one of them :D)

Really? I dont know whats wrong with him,I like him because I like the 777 of course ;-)I dont like the 737NG #3 Sim, because its very Microsoft stylish.Nobody knows...;-)

well the problem with it is, that its not made out of original parts like most of the sims, therefor you cannot just change parts as you can do with other sims (because those 777 sim parts are not certified for real a/c use but on the other sims, you can just exchange parts with real aircrafts). at least thats what i got told. also, its broken lot of times, like the BER737 sim (dont know if its still like that but i saw the maintenance protocol a couple of times)

Honestly I dont know for sure, but I would say its made of original parts, but I would not swear that, at least it looks and feels original.The 737 #3 is made of replicas wich can easily recognized.They are all bruised as it is a hard live for them ;-)

i just checked some picture of FT62 and i have to say, i am sorry, i guess they replaced the old one. When i was there, there was another 777 sim which looked like a grey UFO Alien.gif

I know I'm not contributing with a solution to the primary problem, but as an example of performance, my old Q6600 stock @ 2,4, gpu 512 mb, 4 gb ram and w7 64 can run the NGX at 20 FPS in VC at Copenhagen airport with the recommended settings, graphics, tweaks etc. from Ryans introduction, with REX overdrive, ASE, GEX and UTX-Europe. Thats approx the same as I get with the MD-11.

No that is exactly the UFO (A320), the 777 is next to him.The "UFO" is exactly opposite the TUIfly Sim, the 777 opposite the Air Berlin A320, there are 4 Sims in this hall...believe me ;-) Sven
