HiI have been using RC 4.3 for a long time with no problems at all, but suddenly ATC tells me that I´m drifting off the assigned airway and need to fly a certain heading until I´m back on course. The problem is that I´m flying my filed flightplan exactly, according to the nav display in PMDG NGX, and the correct heading according to the RC display. This happens on every flight and ATC is pretty angry with me...Any suggestions?

Haven't had a single problem. Not pre-hotfixes, pre-SP1 or post-SP1. This product is just gelting better and better.

I had one CTD when I first flew the NGX (without any Hotfixes), but haven´t had any since installing the hotfixes as they where released. I tested the NGX with HF 4 the other day on a 4 hour trip from Copenhagen (EKCH) - Mallorca (LEPA), no problems at all.

Same "issue" here.

Recently I was flying at night with the SAS 738 winglets livery. When selecting wing view i noticed that i could see the PMDG logo on the winglet instead of the SAS logo. No issue in daylight. Haven´t tried other liveries.

I used to use REX to download the weather into FSX and faced the same problems as you are. I purchased ASE and is only using REX for the weather textures. This solved the problem for me. Also I download weather in ASE according to my flightplan when flying complex airliners like the MD-11 and NGX, this saves a lot of resources on my system when it doesn´t download weather every 15 or 20 min. and doesn´t give me any "surprises" on final

NGX also smoother on my system than the 747. I also have an older low end system. I mainly fly in Europe and I have no significant issues with frames, stutters, freezes or anything else (haven´t applied the latest hotfix yet. My FSX settings i set up according to what PMDG advice in the NGX manual. Go buy it if your pc matches the min. specs. It´s worth every penny

When this happens, try to load another aicraft (default or if you where flying the NGX 738 load the 739) and then reload your aircraft.

No problems here as well. Enjoying the NGX with the settings from PMDG and getting fine FPS on my old system.

I will also recommend the track IR. I personally use it during taxi and when handflying. At cruise with AP I often pause the track IR and use spacebar + mouse to navigate the VC and external views etc.

Its definately worth upgrading to 64. It completely eliminated the OOM errors I was getting and gave me a boost in performance as well.

I know I'm not contributing with a solution to the primary problem, but as an example of performance, my old Q6600 stock @ 2,4, gpu 512 mb, 4 gb ram and w7 64 can run the NGX at 20 FPS in VC at Copenhagen airport with the recommended settings, graphics, tweaks etc. from Ryans introduction, with REX overdrive, ASE, GEX and UTX-Europe. Thats approx the same as I get with the MD-11.

I don't know if disabling scenery will gain you anything. I think scenery only gets loaded when you approach it. But make shure to run your fsx.cfg through ******* tool. Searh for it here at the PMDG forums as I cannot remember the URL. It's something with 'venetubo' I think... When you go to the site it tells you exactly how to do :)

I gained a lot of FPS when I got win 7 64. I get around 25-30 FPS with the MD-11. I also ran my fsx.cfg through *******' tweaking tool.

I have had no OOM errors since i got win 7 64, and my system is pretty old and with only 4 gb ram. I also get higher FPS. Around 30 with PMDG MD-11
