Making time go faster in the sim.

Featured Replies

Hi everybody, I was wondering if I could make the time in the sim go to 4x when in cruise cause let's just face it; cruise is boring. I know pmdg did this for the md-11 and the 747.

I believe the answer is yes (with 4x being the limit). Look in the intro manual, as I think that's where I saw it. Trevor

8x is the limit, but it only works properly when you fly straight.

Yea 8X is the limit but its better to do 8X in bursts just in case you hit some wind- that will throw your plane out of wack and youll probably freeze due to information overload - we are all away the game suffers memory issues.

Hi StevenI completed a flight today from Stansted to Damascus and i usually keep everything to x1, there is lots to do during cruise for me, planning the descent looking at the charts for stars, working out where to intercept the ils etc, but today time was against me and I had to reluctantly put the sim into x4 so that I could get to top of descent and complete the flight in the time I had available. I can confirm that the plane and the sim behaved flawlessly, and the 737 followed my flightplan even though I could not stay at the computer for all that time today.RegardsJohn Calleja
