I remember his post from when I was younger and using a different account in the early 2000's('02,'03?). He was pretty darn active in here and quite a nice guy when interacting with everyone. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

It was Major Dopke's home town after military retirement. Not much there other than a Naval Air training station flying the T-45C. I grew up about 30 miles from there. First modern aerial refueling was at Key Field, the commercial airport for Meridian. Two bi-planes about 1935 set an endurance record (like 650 hours or so) that may still be on the books. Named the airport after them. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
August 24, 201114 yr Not the longest any more. The longest is just shy of 65 days! in 1958 but they were refueled from the ground so maybe that doesn't count. Al & Fred managed a shade over 27 days. Andy Brockbank

August 24, 201114 yr Commercial Member those of us in the beta team and the dev team guys miss him very much. He contributed hugely to the PMDG MD-11 and enriched all of us through his lively comments and discussion. He is a major loss to the community and I am so pleased he has been honoured in the NGX.
