January 9, 200422 yr Can someone please recommend a high quality Cessna 172 for FS2004? I've looked in the Avsim files, and even would be willing to pay for something that is exceptional (the old Cessna 172 by DreamFleet?) Thanks for any insight on this! Regards, Steve
January 9, 200422 yr Steve: Check out realairsimulations.com. They have a fantastic freeware 172. Good luck.sjKEWR
January 9, 200422 yr Have you tried the really awesome Cessna 172 by RealAir Simulations? It's "only" an enhancement for the default FS2004 Cessna, but a lot of real world pilots say it's the closest you can get to flying a real 172.Here's the download link: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...004ac&Go=SearchI don't think there is any other quality Cessna 172 available for FS2004.VOlker :]
January 9, 200422 yr Dreamfleet has a great Cessna that is in the same ball park. Corenado Simulations has one of the best models I've seen even though it's not a 172. Realair updated the default 172, I don't think or this doesn't sound like the type of option you were looking for. Check out Coronado's website, you'll love their Cessna... January 9, 200422 yr Just to make it easier: try Carenado with an "a" ;) Their Cessna Centurion 210M is very nice, as is Dreamfleet's Cessna 177 Cardinal - I've got both and like them very much. There are so many fantastic GA planes ... RealAir's SF.260 and Super Decathlon, Dreamfleet's Piper Archer and Cessna 310, FSD's line of products ...VOlker :]
January 9, 200422 yr Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I've got some downloading to do, than I'll give 'em a try. Thanks again!
January 9, 200422 yr Do you have the link to the Coronado web site?I goodled and didn't succeed. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

January 10, 200422 yr Buy the Dreamfleet C177.. it does not get better than this.. and you get an RG model thrown in for free. However, if you insist on the C172, combine the RealAir C172 flight model with the old Dreamfleet 172 panel (or even better, with the Dreamfleet panel with C177 gauges).. picture attached Bert
