September 5, 201114 yr Since I mostly fly with the 2d panel I god rid of the HUGS as equipment and noticed slightly better FPS on the ground? Also for any of you flying 2d-Panel and Activesky. Xgauge makes the perfect weather Radar for the NGX. Check the Picture below. I found a little spot to put it in so on my flights I can see any nasty weather coming up. http://img594.images...217/lgav001.jpg Paul Deemer
September 5, 201114 yr I would have to think the ASE weather radar costs more frames than the HUGS. Mark CYYZ

Haven't figured out how to work out coordinates - wouldn't have any idea would you? Ps interesting pic there! If it weren't for the altimeter I'd have thought you were orbiting earth Kind Regards, Dan Wela

September 5, 201114 yr X Gauge causes no FPS hit. Is that really the case ? I was thinking of installing the ASE "radar" gauge on my J41 , where the real radar should me. Is that difficult to do ? Regards Karim
September 5, 201114 yr Author Is that really the case ? I was thinking of installing the ASE "radar" gauge on my J41 , where the real radar should me. Is that difficult to do ? Not at all, very easy. Use Xgauge install wizard and it will by default install it to panel 5 for all your planes. After that just setup a keystroke or button on your controller that brings up panel 5. You can size it to any size you want and move it anywhere in the plane. Only issue I have is with the 747-400 where the panel stays in front so I have to keep the gauge somewhere above the panel. Do not have that problem in the MD-11 or NGX where I can just put it overtop of the panel and still see it. Paul Deemer
September 5, 201114 yr 2D looks just awful! I dont know how you can use it, takes all the beauty out of the NGX for me. On topic - Ive not noticed and difference in frames with HUGS or no HUGS. Simon Roberts
