September 9, 201114 yr It certainly shuts down many unnecessary services. I use V2 and it does make the system more fluid. I would say it saves me 3-5 fps at the most.

September 9, 201114 yr Go Get Ken Salter's "Alactrity": it's free, (you can donation if you wish) and vastly more functional than GameBooster. http://alacritypc.kensalter.com/ HelloI completely agree Alacrity is many times more functional than Gamebooster, and written by a long time flightsimmer .If you need to shut down a bunch of services then start FSX and other programs that you use alongside FSX automatically, whilst setting those programs affinity all from one icon, then Alacrity is what you need. Even has a support forum and all for free.
