Oh man, it is amazing!Maybe it's because I'm really conservative, but with most sliders all the way to the right, the performance is AMAZING. Bare with me maybe I'm overreacting but, coming from a dual core 1.9GHz Athlon 64 Something of the other... It is an amazing increase in performance, I just loaded up at EGLL with UK2000 Scenery and constant 30+ FPS! I fly comfortably now (:You can see my videos (Unedited ;) In my signature.Any of my videos Including and After The St Maarten departure is with my new rig.

Glad that fixed it up for you. Hopefully the REX guys will make it a feature in the UI at some point to make the water animation textures DXT format if desired so you dont have to do it yourself. It's amazing the performance difference a small adjustment can make and when combined with all the othe little texture tweaks I have made thru the years can help explain why I get such good performance with my older rig.

You should compile one huge thread and get it stickied, I think it is worth it, or I would of still been flying with 5FPS.
