October 6, 201114 yr Commercial Member The baytower Vans has 3d guages, but no RXP integration(yet)I should mention you can integrate the RXP GNS.So if you have a GNS530 license by all means use RXP.The issue is inputs are limited to the 2D pop-up at this point (unless you have a reg'd FSUIPC).That said a 7's not really an ideal aircraft for the OP's mission.A better choice for an IFR trainer would be more docile and dynamically-stable.And the 7's IFR panel emphasizes GPS navigation over radio.Danny
