Read here. Apparently Computer PIlot magazine is running a Oct/Nov article on MS Flight and it talks about full integration of DX11. It also refers to a benchmarking application to ensure your hardware is up to the job. http://www.sim-outho...eady-for-Flight
Wow! That's awesome! :)

I don't wonna upset you, but...
Except for the very sparse information available online, we don’t know much about flight and it’ll likely be several more months until we know actual details. Meanwhile, we have a few guesses that can be used to gauge the readiness of computer hardware for the new program. Link

Yes, disappointing. A speculative article. Who'd have guessed

Can someone make a comparative result on HB with similar hardware like mine? I'm getting "only" 50fps on a default test in 1920x1200. I don't know if that's correct.

Yes let us all test our hardware with Heaven to get arbitrary numbers and results which are meaningless when concerned with Flight. Great idea!

How do you know, without prior knowledge to what Flight is going to support, if Heaven is meaningless or not? Besides, I just wanted a general compare, not a compare meaningful for Flight.

Hi Word Not Allowed, sorry my comment was not directed towards your question. It was in regard to the PC Pilot article. Without prior knowledge of what Flight is going to be is the very reason why Heaven is meaningless in this situation. All it will tell you is how well your current hardware can run heaven on X settings and even these results by themselves are trivial unless you are trying to find a bottleneck, switching out hardware or overclocking.

I'm sure I'll get Flight, but it will not be on launch. I rarely buy anything on launch day. I do hope it utilizes DX10 or DX11 however.

Based on the most current photos, I believe they do use DX11, but again I could very well be fooled.

Probably fooled.
