Geir-Anders-Saved flights created prior to SP1 are not compatible with SP1. Is that what you were wondering?
Yes sir, just what I was wondering thx ;)
Thank you ...Great idea .... just tried it and it only goes back to 10/31/2011(yesterday) which is the same. But thanks anyway
Don't think he was referring to a system restore,( I'd disable that feature in windows anyhow, it eats up resources and space) think what he meant was go into your trash bin and right click files in there unless you emptied that to, which lets you restore them back to where they were deleted from.

I too read here to delete ALL saved files for the NGX, as did readyfortakeoff above. But I uninstalled them (per the "instructions" here from a well meaning member) prior to installing SP1, and now after installing SP1 still do not see them from the menu of flights that I can load. I'm managing well so far without them, however is there a need to have them that I so far have not yet discovered? Thanks, Bruce Knight.

I was actually talking about Volume Shadow Copy (VSS). If you right click (from Windows Explorer) on a file or folder and select 'Restore previous versions' from the menu, it will list previous versions of the file or folder to restore. A snapshot is taken once a day by default.http://windows.micro...asked-questionsOften saves me digging a tape out when a user accidentally deletes stuff off a server volume.

Not wanting to hijack, just wanting to share my experience with the SP1 installation.I installed SP1 and found afterwoods that all the livery I had installed was infact missing. I then re-downloaded all the new versions livery and it would not allow me install them confronting me with an error that I already have it installed and to choose a different name for the livery.I decided to recover my system to an earlier time and decided with a different method, which was to remove all the previous livery using the manager and then installing SP1, followed by all the new version livery and worked out ok.

What about installed airports. Will they in any way be distorted by the SP1 installation? gura75

Robert,I am currently waiting for the SP1 CD to arrive, which has been pre-ordered. I did purchase the base package for 737NGX , but after having problems I uninstalled it from my gaming machine. What I would like to know is, when I receive the CD can I use this to install the 737ngx, or is it necessary to install the base package first.RegardsRobert Keeley
