FPS Limiter and NGX Don't Mix

Recommended Posts

I haven't completed testing but initial results show that FPS Limiter with the new PMDG NGX causes FSX to freeze in an nonrecoverable state. I tried the 738 and the 736 and both times it caused FSX to freeze with no explanation. I had to reboot manually to get the system back. When I ran FSX without the limiter, there were no problems.FrankBTW - In a previous thread in the PMDG forum I had reported an incompatibility between the new NGX and the BU0836 board I use to implement a hat switch on my yoke. With SP1 installed, the problem disappeared. For me this is good news.

Which FPS limiter? I use the 0.2 version with out a problem. The antilag limiter locks up my computer when I try to go to window from full screen.

If it doesn't work, you can still try dxtory. I don't have NGX, but I still prefer it over the other limiter options.

It is actually video recording tool, but can be used as external frame limiter as well as recording videos in Fraps style.

Yeah I saw the video part when I looked it up, but didnt know they were related. If the one im trying to get working doesnt work I might give up all togather with these damn limiters. Thanks though for looking out
