November 16, 201114 yr I would love to hook up with someone on ts3 and have someone talk me through the pmdg js41 - I don't know what it is, I am really starting to hate manuals and form of them...I think this would really be an easy way to learn to fly the js41. Ciao!
November 16, 201114 yr Hi Brian,I seem to recall that you are a member of our VA which means you can sign up for online training on the JS41. See pilots handbook for more details.Regards, VATSIM: P2 | I1
November 16, 201114 yr Author ha! now that is funny! ok, I missed it! that is good news. i think I need more hours to even get up that rank of a/c Ciao!
November 16, 201114 yr I highly recommend the FS2Crew products for the JS4100 as well. Even if you do not file an IFR plan you can still have the assistance of a FO to setup the plane, start the engines, manage some cruise settings, and help with IFR and visual approaches.I use the button control version and it makes each flight more manageable and enjoyable. November 16, 201114 yr Author really?? that is interesting I figured it would make it more difficult... what about the frame rate, do you take a fps hit with fs2crew on it? Ciao!
November 16, 201114 yr really?? that is interesting I figured it would make it more difficult... what about the frame rate, do you take a fps hit with fs2crew on it?Haven't noticed any FPS hit with the button control edition. It does make it easier with a 'pretend' co-pilot it can be a little complex to get correct operation with FSPassengers or FSCaptain. Ian R Tyldesley
November 17, 201114 yr Without FS2Crew:Change viewMove switches, knobsChange viewMove switches, knobsRinse and RepeatWith FS2Crew I never have to leave the VC's main pilot view, with exception of programming the GPS (but there's a popup for that, and it's not required for FS2Crew to function so I don't always do it). November 17, 201114 yr I have found the JetStream's documentation very easy to read. Try normal procedures maybe, lot of tips there. Bartłomiej Ender
