Hey guys,Just a quick couple questions:Do they do the same thing? Is there any profit on using both together?Just want to be sure to not pay twice for the same product. Thanks in advance.

Do it!UTX is vector and landclass scenery. (Roads, rivers, lakes, urban areas, rural areas, rail tracks, etc.)GEX is mainly texture enhancements. (What FSX uses after deaming it to be urban, rural, forest, etc.)The two work seamlessly together, and they were my choice of scenery packages until Orbx started releasing their North American packages.

They do different things.UTX defines Landclass, especially for urban areas. Also things like roads, railroads, bridges.GEX improves on default textures and autogen. They complement one another. Together IMHO they vastly improve on the visual appearance of the default FSX world.

If I may ask something - GEX is not meant to recreate accurate scenery based on satellite of aerial images? Because my UTX + GEX does not do it for sure. I hoped that GEX will use satellite & aerial images of Europe to make some sort of a "google earth" in FSX - that I will for example see my home if I fly over it (of course as a pixels on the ground ;) ).And if GEX does not do it - is there any way to see real satellite or aerial images as scenery in FSX? I am interested only in Europe.
