I've done the same thing. The default callouts sound like ######. They do exist though, but they are not used in the 747-400 or 737NG as far as I now. So now I got the callouts that sound like Jamey Hyneman from MythBusters, lol. The NGX also uses these callouts, but they are bad quality in my opinion. Right now I have the same type of callouts but this ones sound crystal clear. Got them from somebody else on AvSim. Not sure if he allows me to share them though...

Hey, lol, its ok, of course it worth it, but one thing, if anyone can loud them up we all i think appreciate it, because its to quiet, but yes the defaults sounds do exists but..... the replacement a lot more better, cheers.

I'm not sure what you guys are expecting - all the NGX GPWS callouts were recorded in the real thing with professional audio gear...

By bad quality, what in the world are you talking about? I mean I know they're not Dolby Digital 7.1, but they're damn good and crystal clear...

Don't know what Arjensfx is talking about ....However, probably will get bashed, and after spending a little time over on the x plane forum I have realised that some people are really scared of speaking out against developers nowadays..So let me make something clear, I haven't downloaded the sounds that the op is talking about but I do know there is a way more realistic sounding GPWS packs out there(not talking about Betty)Ryan as a fellow musician and soundman I am sure you can pick up on the fact that the LVL-D sims that you recorded from don't sound like the real thing when played on a normal home sim setup, or even a heavy duty surround sound setup. I have spent a lot of time in both and there is a certain ambience missing. If you hunt through a lot of freeware you can find some extremely accurate recordings that capture the sound perfectly. I am in no way trying to put down the work that has been done in the MD11 and NGX but as some will know the type of condenser mike you use makes a huge difference. I have never complained because I feel the devs have to mix for standard desktop speakers and I can change the sounds myself anyway.Regards

Hey Rob,i did not mean that the pmdg 737ngx gpws are bad, and if you think so, i do not think pmdg will offend. but, you can easily download another one, as for the 747, i love more the others sounds, those who came with the 747 sounds a little, weird, and i know that they exists, but just wanted to share with you the new sounds, thanks and,regards.
