A good idea ... ?

Hello!I open this topic to share a good idea...I think will be very good to PMDG to create a official twitter account, to update us. It's a very good way to quick updates, with links etc ... I love twitter! many companys use it.What do you think?

I second that. If there´s no statement from PMDG about some things like RSR does, big spectaculations are made by the community asking the same question over and over ("How long till this, when do we get that...?") and the support team has to answer these questions over and over again. Little messages via twitter everyday or so could really help in that case. To get the community informed about what´s going on and don´t have to answer the same thing over and over again.

Best regards, Steffen

If someone has something to say and time to say it on twitter, then they have time here. Why ask them to post on both?

The whole concept of twitter is messages with length less than 140 characters. In theory, it's easier to release little bits of information in that format than it would be to show up here and put up a whole post, where you're not forced to be brief.I'm not arguing for it, I'm just saying twitter's format forces brevity and therefore might actually be slightly faster (unless you have a lot to say). Either way, it doesn't much matter to me.

+1

I would like that idea but I don't think that PMDG will accept it since they somehow like to keep everyone in the dark...
