February 8, 200422 yr Guys,What would you consider your best General Aviation aircraft? Freeware or payware, let's hear it.Nick
February 8, 200422 yr Default C172 with RealAir airfileAnything by Dreamfleet (flying the C177 and C152 a lot right now).Freeware Maule M-7-260. -
February 8, 200422 yr I find myself flying mostly the DF Archer II and the Carenado C210. The default Mooney is not bad either.
February 8, 200422 yr Flight 1 Piper Meridian, this plane will make you change the way you used to see other GA planes.Carlos.
February 8, 200422 yr The Meridian + the latest WX radar from Reality XP is by far the best GA plane out there. There is NOTHING bad about that package. Video flight Productions have released a 50 Min cockpit video that clearly shows this panel/plane/instrumentation to be sublime in its quality.Apart from the Meridian, I also find the Maule superb.Ray Keattch.
February 8, 200422 yr Dreamfleet Archer -- the best plane in my hangarFreeware: Realair C172; Barry Blaisdell's Diamond Katana; Aviat Husky
February 8, 200422 yr The SF.260 hands-down. Especially in its newest version for FS9, it is an outstanding aircraft, handsome, smooth and powerful (170kts cruise). Equally excellent for cross-country and IFR as well as some hair-raising manoeuvers. It is the only plane I have (my other payware GA being the Cessna 421) which I constantly fly in VC mode because the gauges are so ultra-sharp. It is even more stable than before and a dream to fly, even when you're not doing aerobatics. For some exercises I take the freeware RealAir C172 which is also superb.just my 0.02$,celticmatrix
February 8, 200422 yr My favorites:Dreamfleet Archer II and CardinalFlight1 MeridianRealAir Marchetti and Decathlon Bert
February 8, 200422 yr The RealAir SF.260 is my all time favorite payware single GA plane. A fantastic freeware package that everybody should have is the Lyons Classic Cub collection.VOlker :]
February 8, 200422 yr For me, the best GA aircraft is definitively the Cessna 421C Golden Eagle (Flight1 Software).Juul Tango,Hasselt, Belgium
February 8, 200422 yr For me, my tastes change quite often, as does the mood...... not to mention where I'm sim flying. Could range from a good twin, to aerobatics, to back country airstrips. No one plane will do it all. Favorites are from RealAir, Dreamfleet, Flight1, Carenado, FSD, PSS, an F-16 from Kurt Olsson, and the RV7 from Factory Flight Simulations ---- because I built an RV and am rather fond of them..And then there are two beautiful B-25's, and, and, and.........L.Adamson
