December 17, 201114 yr Not true, there is a complete 4.751a install version download link on the same page - http://fsuipc.simfli...FSUIPC4751a.zip Thanks for the correction. My point is that you have to have installed a previous 4.7* version - not a previous one. Edmundo Azevedo
December 17, 201114 yr Author Thanks for the correction. My point is that you have to have installed a previous 4.7* version - not a previous one.If you mean to use just the upgrade zip, with just the DLL inside it - then yes, that would be true. Otherwise, go with the full installer version to be safe. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
December 17, 201114 yr As indicated in the FSUIPC docs, just to the FSUIPC main screen and press the 'Disable All Weather Settings' button and then the 'OK' button.well, that was my problem, I don't get the "OK" prompt. and pressing the "disable all weather" seems to do nothing.that is why I was asking on how to do it via the ini file. Joel Strikovsky
December 17, 201114 yr Author Ah, yes, the "Disable All Weather Settings" does not show any signs that it is working (unless you previously had some smoothing options checked on the Winds page - then they should be unchecked after pressing that button on the main page). Just press the 'Disable All Weather Options' on the main page and then the main OK button at the bottom of FSUIPC window to get back to FSX. Your FSUIPC.ini file will be correctly set now with no smoothing or other weather options enabled. Good luck. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
December 17, 201114 yr So ... is it consent here that with the new AS2012, FSUIPC weather stuff should generally be disabled? Dave P. Woycek

December 18, 201114 yr I upgraded to AS2012 earlier today and flew a couple of legs. I wasnt actually thinking at the time about the winds, but after reading this thread I do have to say that I didnt notice any wild wind swings that had sometimes occurred. Ron Priever
December 18, 201114 yr Please note that to install 4751 you need to have installed first the complete 470 package! As I stated above, I had 4.70 installed. I also got the 4751 from Pete's website!
