December 17, 201114 yr You must have 4.70 install prior to update Yes I did. What has that got to do with it? Should I have went up through the updates or different versions?
December 17, 201114 yr Author If you can confirm the lack of black screens after removing FSUIPC, then I would move the issue over to Pete's support forum and let him take a look at the issue. This way if there is something wrong, he can publish the fix that much faster to all concerned. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
December 17, 201114 yr Yes I did. What has that got to do with it? Should I have went up through the updates or different versions?Settle down.........That update is for the base package of 4.70. December 17, 201114 yr Settle down.........That update is for the base package of 4.70. Just trying to help. What u mean settle down. Don't automatically assume if someone asks a question, that it meant in an upset way. All I did was ask what that version had to do with it???Thanks for the information!
December 17, 201114 yr Author Please note, there are two different FSUIPC4 v4.751a downloads at this time. The first one is simply the update (dll file only) for upgrade purposes only. The second download has the full 4.751a installer. You might try the full install if you're having any issues.http://forum.simflig...pdated-modules/ Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
December 17, 201114 yr If you use FSUIPC and a version of ActiveSky in DWC mode, do yourself a favor and go get Pete's latest version 4.7.51 or later. It a has a major global weather mode fix. It gave new life to DWC mode for me with all FSUIPC weather settings off. Funny thing was, if you have some FSUIPC smoothing enabled, the flaky global weather was not apperant. My suggestion, try DWC mode now without any FSUIPC settings - it was like night and day for me.In the NGX, I now have a completely smooth flight with the slightest touch of turbulance as I passed through the cloud layers during testing. No more wildly swinging winds, bouncing me all over the place - all without any FSUIPC smoothing.maybe my qustion is quite stupid, but... are you talking about REGISTERED version of fsuipc, or this workaround works also with the unregistered?thnks Giorgio Nicola www.flyafa.com
December 17, 201114 yr Author Unregistered means you could not 'hide' the problem with FSUIPC's registered smoothing options - paid version only. So yes, this would affect both reg'd and un-reg'd versions. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
December 17, 201114 yr do you know what settings I need to place in "FSUIPC4.ini" in order to disable weather all together in FSUIPC? Joel Strikovsky
December 17, 201114 yr Author As indicated in the FSUIPC docs, just to the FSUIPC main screen and press the 'Disable All Weather Settings' button and then the 'OK' button. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
December 17, 201114 yr I insrtalled the "new" 4751 and got numerous black screens in FSX!Please note that to install 4751 you need to have installed first the complete 470 package! Edmundo Azevedo
December 17, 201114 yr Author Please note that to install 4751 you need to have installed first the complete 470 package! Not true, there is a complete 4.751a install version download link on the same page - http://fsuipc.simfli...FSUIPC4751a.zip Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
