Proof That MS Flight is NOT Hawaii only

It's obvious by now that hawaii will be the beta/demo but the full version will have whole world with out has having to pay for it but they might be planning to make high quality regional packages that can be bought from the store if you want to upgrade.
Thats a really good educated guess, just like St Marteen was the demo area for FSX, I wouldn't mind paying for regions because there are some areas like India, China, Russia in FSX/FS2004 that I haven't visited and don't see my self visiting, so I shouldn't have paid £30 for my FSX deluxe edition if I wasn't visiting some areas, but the job description says that there must be experience needed for shipping 1 high quality game so I'll wait for what Tom has to say in January...

Virtual world of flight. It does not mean that Flight has whole world, its just talking about gaming world of Microsoft Flight.

Have you actually read the jobdescriptions in post nr. 1? All references to Flight modelling the real world are marked bold by the topicstarter, for your convenience :(

Cheers, Bert

Are those marked parts actually from original job post? I did read it long time ago but I just thought that its some kind of speculation from guy who posted it, maybe I understood it wrong then?If thats original one I would still say that default flight will not have whole world modeled when it takes only 10GB, so maybe M$ wants to get part of addon sale by selling other areas.

Is your CC ready?
Mine is. If Flight is worthwhile I''ll buy addons for it, just like I do know with FSX :(

Yes, the marked parts are in the actual job descriptions. And Flight will have the whole world modelled, just like FSX. It remains to be seen what the detail will be, I agree. But it seems indeed very logical we'll be able to purchase improved areas in the store.

Websters defines virtual as:
b: of, relating to, or existing within a virtual reality <a virtual world> <a virtual tour>

Yes its the original one, I would prefer if MS sold the other areas as addons TBQH.
On the other hand, you need 24GB free hard disk space only for Switzerland from aeroflyFS, here http://www.aeroflyfs...quirements.html so the question is "What will you get from MS for 10GB..?" is your CC ready?
But AeroflyFS is modelled after Switzerland so apparently every little detail is in the sim and it also has photo-real scenery and textures while Flight uses autogens(seen in screenshots) that can be repeated over and over again, saving hdd space.

Ok then, I agree that Flight will have whole world. Just waiting for information about its quality, and if it will come by default or if you need to pay for it and then download, or if whole rest of the world is made with FSX quality and then you need to pay to get it improved.

OK, now how about default jets?

When I see a screenshot of a jet in Flight, I'm gonna be so excited I'll probably pass out.

Jehan Kateli

Now answer which FS version was the last NOT to include default jets?
