December 25, 201114 yr Looking for a little guidence. Keep getting the Nav Data out of Date error message on the FMC even tho I've updated to latest AIRAC. FMC shows AIRAC-1113 Dec15Jan11/12. Can't figure out where I went wrong. Anybody else run into this or knows what I can do to correct it?Thanks in advanceBob DemarestBirmingham, Alabama Bob Demarest Knoxville, Tennessee
December 25, 201114 yr There's already another thread on this. Seems to be caused by something in the 2011/2012 transition. This is a Navigraph problem, not PMDG's. All I would like to know, is how to disable it (temporarily). Perhaps that this message will stop to show up at the 1st of January? Arjen Vandervelde

Its clearly related to the way the NGX deals with change of year Johan Pettersen

Perhaps that this message will stop to show up at the 1st of January? It is an NGX problem - the 747-400 and MD-11, which use exactly the same nav database as the NGX, do not have this issue. It's a very minor glitch in the internal programming of the NGX FMS, which I'm sure has already been corrected for the next service pack. December 26, 201114 yr This is not a bug! It's a feature! The date of the database is out of date. The FMS tells you it's in need of an update. Lukas "TIN TIN -=9th Shrek=-" Mathijsen

December 26, 201114 yr What exactly do you think is incorrect ..what date ?The AIRAC databases are a sequence of 4 numbers, which coincide with the corrosponding year and month. For example: 1108 means database for august of 2011. Consequently, the database from august isn't valid anymore in september. Lukas "TIN TIN -=9th Shrek=-" Mathijsen
