December 29, 201114 yr I have been personally waiting for ages for this: a good Havana scenery, and we now have one:http://secure.simmarket.com/taxi2gate-la-habana-cuba-muha-fs2004.phtmlMy experience with Taxi2Gate is that in essence their sceneries are really good-looking. Some of them have big FPS issues though which can spoil the fun. At least, that's the case for the FSX versions. Not sure how the FS2004 version fares. December 29, 201114 yr From the screenshots I can say they have worked out a really great volumetric grass. I also like the 3D car models and the apron vehicles.Texturing on the buildings does not convince me that much though. All that is said based on the provided screens only. I have no Taxi2Gate products. And I agree it is great a detailed FS9 MUHA has been made. An interesting destination for sure.If someone buys it and wants to share some impressions, I will be glad to listen.
December 29, 201114 yr Thanks for the heads-up. I will be getting this and will report my thoughts.Very interesting country... I was there last January.Peter Peter Schluter
December 29, 201114 yr Author Thanks for the heads-up. I will be getting this and will report my thoughts.Very interesting country... I was there last January.PeterI envy you. I would love to go there, but it's a little far away, which makes it rather expensive... Friend of mine went there and said it's one of the most beautiful countries he visited. Would love to hear your thoughts on the scenery! December 29, 201114 yr Ooh god, another scenery ! My wallet is completely decimated after xmas. Krakow, Vancouver and now this. Its all really wierd actually, I went to visit Krakow summer 2011, I am going Scuba diving in Vancouver this coming May and last year I went diving in Cuba. I am sure these developers are conspiring with my bank manager. Seriously, the scenery looks superb. Thanks for heads up. Tristan Living in the beautiful Chilterns. December 29, 201114 yr Ooh god, another scenery ! My wallet is completely decimated after xmas. Krakow, Vancouver and now thisTristan - how much did you pay for the Vancouver scenery? I got my completely free, right here on Avsim. Ok.. just kiddin'. I know what you mean how weird things can be. I used to visit Krakow quite often in my student days in PL. Warsaw is my home town. As far as Vancouver goes, it is the second, after Montreal, most beautiful city in Canada. When I was working for Canadian Airlines and then Air Canada I was in Vancouver at least twice a month. By the way - where are you going to be scuba diving in Vancouver? The waters around Vancouver, in the Georgia Straight and around the island are about as warm as in the fiords in the north Alaska passage. :PTed

December 29, 201114 yr Hi Ted we are diving on the north of Vancouver Island, and yes Gavin this is definately Dry Suit diving. As a bonus we taking the inaugural Virgin Atlantic flight there which should be fun, especially if the 'Grinning Pullover' is there to welcome us aboard. Tristan Living in the beautiful Chilterns. A snorkel is as near as I get to underwater adventures. I do eat a lot of fish though and am starting to be silly and go off topic. So will stop now :-) Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
December 30, 201114 yr Dry suit diving? Means nothing to me.It is the one on the right. We, divers, usually use the left one though.
December 30, 201114 yr The one on the left looks like me at the end of a wedding receptionNow the secret has been revealed:I was the photographer at the reception, Al! :(
